The Customer Care Representative acts as the important first-line of contact with customers, setting the tone for how members view our company and services, providing members with the right information at the right time to help them make better decisions about their health and health care. The CCR handles inbound, predominantly routine customer service calls, consistently demonstrating behaviors that contribute to the department’s achievement of service level goals. CCRs work collaboratively with our business partners to provide solutions for customers, taking responsibility for following through and bringing outstanding issues to closure on the initial contact.

We're located in the Metro Center, a great location that's close to downtown, but easily accessible from the outlying Nashville neighborhoods.

- HS Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree a plus. 
- Health-care related certifications and licensure a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a complex, high impact customer service role, preferably in a health care-related field.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills and strong customer-service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette. 
- Proficient PC and internet skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- Responsiveness, reliability, and ability to express assurance/ confidence.
- Ability to express empathy and professionalism
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- PC skills in Windows-based applications
- Advanced verbal/written communication skills
- Team-oriented; customer service focus and Initiative
- Ability to identify process improvements
- Practical application of knowledge and skills learned in training
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
